Hey everybody,
I've finally gotten my site back up... havefunstormingthecastle.com should point to this, but as you can see: it's coconutfunworld.com now :)
I've been trying to do all the development on my computer this time around so everything should always work correctly, but if you find a problem or get an error please email me @ benschw@gmail.com
most of the improvements over havefunstormingthecastle, are in the blog. As you can see from my blog, its completely configurable as compared to the articles section from before. You can change the color scheme, page title, and even layout (including getting rid of the coconutfunworld navigation menu)... all features designed to let you use this as your page, and not just your post on someone else's site.
also, i've been trying to allow users to comment on all content, as well as including a description when uploading pictures.
lastly, i'm currently putting in the ability to insert pictures into your posts. The goal is for you to be able to include a thumbnail any place where you would enter text. (as of writing this, its available for the map page and the blog page... see?)
a couple notes:
if you go to this site with internet explorer, an obnoxious Get Firefox advertisement will display in the left column of the page... the obvious solution if this bugs you, is to get firefox ;)
also the map page and adding of pictures into posts will never work in internet explorer... this is a limitation of internet explorer, not my site, so please don't tell me that these things don't work if you are using internet explorer.
in any case, take a look around, post lots of content! and above all have fun stormingthecastle!
